Clinical Support Specialist in Neurosurgery

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team in Neurosurgery. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and are looking for a rewarding career in the healthcare industry.
About the Role:- As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will perform various medical and clerical tasks to support our nursing team, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
- You will work collaboratively with other clinic staff to solve practice-related problems and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
- With a focus on delivering high-quality patient care, you will possess strong knowledge of growth and development principles and be able to respond effectively to individual patient needs.
- Perform selected medical assistant and clerical duties that assist in care for clinic patients following established standards, practices, and competency.
- Work collaboratively with other clinic staff to solve practice-related problems and promote a positive and supportive team environment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possess the ability to respond effectively to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status.
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with an Associate's degree or diploma preferred.
- Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred.
- National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA); or
- National Registration as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologist (AMT); or
- National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association and Medical Assistant diploma or National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association with one year of experience.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $19.25 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will also enjoy:
