We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telehealth Registered Nurse (R.N.) to join our team in Everett, Washington.
About the Job:
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate R.N. to work with patients who require telemetry monitoring. As a Telehealth R.N., you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care by connecting patients to vital sign monitoring equipment that transmits data to computer screens for real-time analysis.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and possess strong critical thinking skills, as they will be required to interpret electronic displays and take appropriate action when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic bedside care to patients.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting and recording electronic displays.
- Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team promptly.
- Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, applicants must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. They should also be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Additional Requirements:
A valid ACLS certification and at least 2 years of recent acute care experience are mandatory. BLS certification is also required. Additional certifications may be needed before starting the assignment.
Salary:
The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
