Electrical Engineer - Device Testing and Characterization
Duracell, a leading manufacturer of high-performance alkaline batteries, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its R&D team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing projects involving device testing, characterization, and technical support for device-based claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with regional R&D teams and commercial teams to establish business strategies for regional/global initiatives (claim and demonstration)
- Deliver device-based testing and data to identify Duracell product performance advantages
- Plan and set up consumer studies to understand consumer-relevant benefits to support regional claims
- Utilize hands-on engineering skills to develop test methods, conduct tests, and write technical reports
- Examine needs for new equipment, calculate costs, and help prepare budgets
- Hardware development and troubleshooting
Requirements:
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree
- Relevant Associates Degree with minimum 3 years of work experience in electrical testing and/or programming
- Familiarity with electrical test instruments such as DC Power Supply, Multimeter, Oscilloscopes, Lux meter, NI cDAQ, and DC Power Analyzer
- Experience with electrical design and development, such as PCB layout, circuit design/debugging
- Intermediate level of using Microsoft Office tools
- Project management experience is preferred
- Experience in design, configure, and deploy data acquisition and control systems will be a plus
