Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Residential Services Coordinator to join our team at Lyons HR. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining residential activity binders, managing resident and staff birthday calendars, and conducting monthly fire drills and quarterly tornado drills. Additionally, they will collaborate with the ICF/Residential & Day Services Director to plan, coordinate, and implement individual personal choices regarding on-campus and off-campus activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain residential activity binders and manage resident and staff birthday calendars.
  2. Conduct monthly fire drills and quarterly tornado drills for the Residential, Day Habilitation, and Vocational Programs.
  3. Collaborate with the ICF/Residential & Day Services Director to plan, coordinate, and implement individual personal choices regarding on-campus and off-campus activities.
  4. Manage the ROI calendar and file information for ICF/Residential & Day Services Director, QDDPs, QIDPs, and Program Coordinators.
  5. Create a monthly calendar of all Residential Program events and distribute copies to all residents, staff, and parents/guardians.
  6. Process House Managers' requests for household items and supplies, and allocate donated items or purchase the items needed with approval from the Program Director.
  7. Serve as a member of the Human Rights Committee (HRC) and Behavior Program Committee (BPRC), and participate in appropriate ROI meetings and/or committees, as requested.
  8. Complete Minutes for the HRC and BPRC meetings and maintain binders for each meeting.
  9. Maintain the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) Meeting Binders for Residential/Vocational/Day Hab/ICF.
  10. Serve as the back-up for the Carpenter Center Receptionist and transport for Medical Appointments.
  11. Serve on the On-Call Rotation for the Residential Program and assist in gassing vans at least weekly.
  12. Comply with all ROI and regulatory and governing agencies' regulations, standards, requirements, policies, and procedures.
  13. Keep the ICF/Residential & Day Services Director informed of any complaints, incidents, or issues involving resident accounts, activities, safety, or services.
  14. Perform such other duties as assigned by the ICF/Residential & Day Services Director.

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED, with training in typing and computer technology (college experience preferred), plus at least two years related experience (preferably at least one year working with individuals with developmental disabilities).

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must maintain current Alabama driver's license and successfully pass criminal background check, drug, and TB screening.
