Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accommodation Assistant to join our team at the Valencia Group. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting housekeeping operations, maintaining cleanliness and organization of guest areas, and providing excellent customer service.
About the Role:
This is a full-time opportunity that requires a high level of physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting, and bending. The successful candidate must be able to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of our hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep and mop floors in service landings as needed, ensuring a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Vacuum carpet throughout assigned guest corridors daily, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
- Report maintenance issues to engineering staff and management promptly, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Assist guests with requests and provide exceptional customer service, enhancing their stay experience.
- Deliver requested supplies to housekeeping staff, ensuring they have everything needed to complete their tasks efficiently.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of housekeeping storage areas, restocking linens and amenities as required.
- Ensure all trash and dirty linen are collected and disposed of properly at the end of each shift.
- Remove room service trays from guest sight, placing them in designated storage areas.
- Assist with moving furniture, rugs, and equipment as needed, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
- Take direction from hotel and housekeeping management, adapting to changing priorities and responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not necessary.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly between floors.
- Neat, professional appearance and good personal hygiene, reflecting positively on the Valencia Group.
- Able to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of our hotel.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, associates, and management, ensuring seamless teamwork and customer satisfaction.

- $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience
