Job Summary:

Banner Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing prescribed procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures, and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform procedures by following and verifying referring providers' orders.
  • Educate patients/families regarding procedure and/or treatment to be performed.
  • Produce high-quality images and prepare/present them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation.
  • Demonstrate competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures if applicable.
  • Perform and evaluate equipment quality control measurements.
  • Assure the efficient operation of workflow of the department.

Requirements:

  • Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • National Certification required from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R) or ARRT(NM)) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB (CNMT)).
  • State Licensure required for AZ, WY, NV; includes Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and CT license prior to hire.
  • Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography required within 18 months of hire from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT(CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board – NMTCB (CT).
  • Certification for BLS is required.

Hours:

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday; 8:00pm - 6:30am

Sign-on Bonus:

Up to $30,000

Benefits:

Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.
