About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Project Manager to join our team at the Walbec Group. As a Solar Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing solar construction projects from pre-construction to project closeout, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage solar construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet their needs and expectations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including training and development.
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Ensure project safety, including developing and implementing safety plans and procedures.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in solar construction project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of solar construction processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
