Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret medical information accurately and convey it to patients in their native language.
  • Conduct pre-session briefings to ensure clear expectations and maintain professionalism.
  • Assure patient comprehension and navigate cultural nuances to improve mutual understanding.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Requirements:

  • Certificate from a nationally accredited 40-hour medical interpreter training program.
  • Demonstrable fluency in English and target language(s), with expertise in medical terminology.
  • Ability to travel to various healthcare facilities within the designated area.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
