Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients to visualize internal structures and assess medical conditions.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, providing accurate and timely reports to healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with medical and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
Associate or bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
State licensure as required.
Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and conducting various ultrasound examinations.
