About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Painter to join our team at E V Bishoff Company. As a key member of our Operations Team, you will be responsible for painting full-time on our downtown properties, including office buildings and retail spaces.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently, lifting and carrying heavy equipment, and standing for long periods of time. You will have the ability to work on various projects, including trim work, interior doorways, hallways, and office spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize standard paint equipment, such as airless spray equipment, motorized lifts, paint brushes, and other related tools.
  • Apply technical knowledge of coating materials to ensure proper application.
  • Patch, repair, tape, and mud drywall surfaces.
  • Dispose of residual materials according to local guidelines.
  • Maintain daily communication with the office manager regarding job progress and supply needs.
  • Report to management upon job completion or when issues arise.
  • Ensure a neat and clean work area at all times.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 50lbs weightlifting capacity.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Technical knowledge of coating materials and paint equipment.
  • Experience in patching, repairing, taping, and mudding drywall surfaces.

Compensation Package:

The salary for this position is $23.00 per hour, reflecting the skills and qualifications required for the role. Additionally, the company offers a range of benefits, including:
