Job Description:

The Quality Assurance Inspector will travel to various supplier facilities to perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies. The inspector will be required to report inspection accept/reject information directly to the customer via web application.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-process and final inspections on complex machined parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies.
  • Inspect parts to engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), industry standards, and specifications.
  • Report inspection results directly to the customer via web application.

Requirements:
  • 3 years of practical experience performing in-process and final inspections on complex machined parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Experience using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, thread gauges, height gauges, CMM, and hardness testers.
  • Knowledge of AS9102 standard and experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs).
  • Minimum of five years of experience performing inspections in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Computer savvy and own a laptop for this assignment.
  • Must have LLC/DBA or be able to obtain an LLC/DBA.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
