We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Host to provide exceptional service to our guests at The Original Pancake House.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Provide guests with menus and inform them of current promotions.
  • Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation, ensuring servers receive an appropriate number of seating's.
  • Manage the flow of guests into the dining areas and provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate.
  • Bussing, cleaning tables and seating areas as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous restaurant hosting or serving experience preferred.
  • Friendly and customer-focused personality.
  • Ability to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests, as well as being able to understand requests for assistance.
  • Ability to clearly communicate guests needs to Servers, Bussers, Managers, etc.
  • Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone.
  • Must be able to carry trays or supplies (10-30 lbs.).
  • Must be 18.
  • Must be available weekends.
  • Must be able to work 7AM-3:30PM.
