Event Chef

Gourmet Caterers, Inc. is seeking a skilled Event Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing large quantities of food for various events, ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bulk Food Production: Prepare large quantities of food for multiple events, adhering to quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
• Organization: Efficiently organize food and equipment for successful event execution.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to safe food handling practices.
• Preparation: Follow event prep lists, ensuring all food items and materials are stored, handled, and rotated correctly.
• Teamwork: Demonstrate strong teamwork and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
• Event Setup: Assist in setting up and breaking down workspaces, mobile kitchens, and food stations, maintaining high-level service standards.

Requirements:

• Education: High School Graduate or equivalent; Culinary Degree preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in production settings, especially with off-site event catering.
• Licensing: Current driving license with the ability to drive company vehicles.
• Skills: Excellent guest and hospitality skills, ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills.
• Availability: Ability to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
