About the Role

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Behavioral Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families.

Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Specialist provides expert clinical care to patients with complex behavioral health needs. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Collects and analyzes data to identify actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues related to patient care.
  • Develops and implements individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Coordinates care delivery with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provides education and support to patients and their families to empower them to take an active role in their care.
  • Evaluates progress toward attainment of patient goals and outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
