Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Refinisher to join our team at Cummins Clean Fuel Technologies. As a key member of our paint shop, you will be responsible for refinishing vehicles to meet industry standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Refinish vehicles to meet pre-accident condition or industry standards of quality.
• Follow all safety measures for personal and environmental safety.
• Wear all necessary safety equipment, including goggles, gloves, face shields, and dust masks.
• Report any hidden damage to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain all body shop equipment in good working condition.
• Clean paint areas and tools and equipment.
• Maintain proper stocking levels of paint and materials.
• Apply masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years related work experience in a similar position.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with related hardware/software systems as needed to fully execute the duties required.
• General office skills and knowledge of equipment and systems, including filing systems, use of copiers, facsimile machines, postage meters, telephone systems, and other communication or electronic equipment as may be applicable.

Working Conditions

The employee must regularly be able to, with assistance, lift and/or move more than 80 pounds.
