Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Personal Care department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. You will assess the needs of our residents, administer medications, and provide accurate and descriptive records of medical and nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques
• Provide accurate and descriptive records of medical and nursing care of the residents
• Assign daily resident care duties to Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides, monitor and evaluate the delivery of care
• Accurately transcribe and carry out all physicians orders and assist with physician visits
• Participate in resident care planning

Requirements:
• Current and valid LPN license in the state providing nursing care
• Possesses judgment capabilities, initiative and dependability
• Ability to read, write and understand English well
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist and turn frequently throughout the course of an eight hour shift
• Ability to lift 30 pounds in assisting co-workers with resident lifts, transfers, etc. several times throughout the shift
