$34.61-$35.58 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Competitive salary based on experience.

Job Description

The Safety Trainer will support the Safety Manager in promoting a safety-first culture at the Sacramento International Airport location. This includes overseeing classroom and field trainings, performing driver evaluations, and informing safety policy to ensure operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align Employees with Company Mission

Ensure all employees understand and adhere to our safety-first culture.

Provide Classroom and Field Training

Deliver comprehensive training programs for new hires and existing employees.

Evaluate Driver Readiness

Assess new hires' road readiness using established criteria.

Support Monthly Safety Meetings

Conduct regular safety training meetings for all employees.

Behind-the-Wheel Training

Provide personalized behind-the-wheel training for all drivers.

Evaluate Driver Performance

Critically evaluate driver performance and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Transportation Experience

Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial transportation or paratransit operations.

Supervisory Experience

Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience in commercial transportation or paratransit operations.

Licensing and Certifications

Class A or B license with air brake and passenger endorsements required. TSI Certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Parking Operation Experience

Experience working in a parking operation environment.

Airport Location Experience

Previous experience working at an airport location.

Physical Demands:

  • Work Environment

This position requires working in various weather conditions and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Mobility Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, running, bending, stooping, and squatting required.
