Role Overview

As a Certified Surgical Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile environments, assisting surgeons, and documenting patient records.

Compensation Package

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and efficient operating environment.
  • Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a sterile field.
  • Document patient records and surgical procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Travel to various healthcare facilities as needed to support surgical teams and patients.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required; experience in a surgical environment, preferably as a travel tech, is highly valued.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Able to adapt to different surgical teams and environments, prioritizing flexibility and professionalism.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, with a valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
