Job Summary:The Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist will play a critical role in preparing and assisting with cardiovascular procedures in our state-of-the-art catheterization laboratory. This position requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare and position patients for care
- Maintain a sterile environment during procedures
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in orientation of new staff
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks
- Collaborate with physicians and leadership to ensure high-quality patient care
To be successful in this role, you must possess a formal education in Radiologic Technology or a related field, with certification from recognized bodies such as the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Previous procedural area experience is preferred, but not required. You should also have basic life support (BLS) training and advanced life support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
Compensation:This full-time position offers an estimated hourly salary range of $27.84-$45.46 based on previous work experience.
