About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Claire's. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a fun and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support your Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Deliver sales through friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring our customers have a positive experience.
  • Ensure our customers have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience by demonstrating Claire's products and assisting with their queries.
  • Assist with processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.
  • Provide ear piercing services (full training will be provided).
  • Ensure the store looks presentable and inviting to our customers.

About You

We are looking for individuals who possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, basic computer skills, and a strong understanding of customer service. You should also have a sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.

As a Sales Associate, you will be required to stand during scheduled shifts, maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly, and up to 75 lbs occasionally. You will also be required to operate a POS system.

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation range is $9.50 - $10.00 per hour, with final compensation determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
