ARDMS, BLS, and RDCS certifications are required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in echocardiography.

Job Details

Echocardiography Technologist

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing adult and pediatric echocardiograms, as well as other diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience with Siemens equipment and be proficient in isolation precautions and procedures in ICU/ED settings.

Guaranteed Hours:

The client may call off up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours.

Special Requirements:

The successful candidate must be in Illinois 3 business days prior to compliance HDD to meet fingerprinting requirements.

Schedule Information

Shift:

The successful candidate will work a mix of 8 and 10-hour days based on department needs, with start times varying. Weekend call will be every other or every third weekend, depending on department needs.

Is on-call REQ? Yes

The successful candidate will have call every other or every third weekend and 1 day during the week, depending on department needs.

RTO Restrictions:

The successful candidate must discuss schedule requests with the manager.

Unit Specific Information

Required Adult Echo Skills/Experience:

Bubble Study, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Routine, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Treadmill Stress Echo.

Required Pediatric Echo Skills/Experience:

M-Mode, Portable Studies, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Routine.

Required Professional Knowledge and Skills:

Isolation Precautions, Procedures on patients in ICU/ED settings.
