Job Overview

Bryant Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to support our Carrollton, TX location. As a key member of our Finance Department, you will perform daily financial tasks, manage business and employee licensure, and oversee business insurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and record journal entries, reconcile financial statements, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Process payments, verify and reconcile invoices, and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance and recording entries.
  • Respond to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data.
  • Review and manage fund transactions, payments, invoicing, remittance, time and expense, etc.
  • Monitor and support business and employee licensing compliance for operating jurisdictions.
  • Support and assist with initial applications, ongoing maintenance, and termination of proposals, contracts, and licensures as appropriate.
  • Manage business insurance, implementing new policies, overseeing renewals, claims, and supplying COI.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with some accounting education.
  • 4-5 years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting a small to medium-sized company.
  • Self-starting and assertive, high energy, highly organized, and ownership mentality.
  • Strong collaboration and presentation skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-up skills with the ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently.
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
