Job Summary

The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System plays a crucial role in preparing equipment and providing patient care in a state-of-the-art cardiovascular program. This position requires maintaining a sterile environment, ensuring excellent patient care, and supporting a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Identify and assess patient conditions, prepare, position, and provide patient care to meet their needs.
  • Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
  • Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Relevant certifications, such as ARRT or RCIS.
  • Previous procedural area experience preferred.
