Pediatric ICU Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Amergis is seeking a skilled Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a PICU RN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Pediatric Critical Care Department.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse with experience in pediatric critical care to work in our dynamic PICU environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and promoting a culture of excellence and safety.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity that requires a dedicated and flexible individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a PICU RN, you will be accountable for:
- Providing direct patient care and monitoring patients' physical and psychological responses to treatment.
- Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of patient information, including assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
- Participating in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric critical care.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
- A current, valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- At least one year of recent experience working in an ICU, CCU, PICU, NICU, or emergency medicine setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a culture of collaboration and respect.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and make sound decisions.
Amergis offers a competitive compensation package, including:
- A salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
