Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Direct-to-Consumer Smart Home initiative. This role requires a dynamic and flexible individual who can drive the transition from professional installation services to consumer-led installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Effort: Adapt and operationalize smart home products from professional installation to consumer-led installation.
  • Develop Solutions: Create innovative solutions for smart home systems, including lights, locks, thermostats, home monitoring systems, video surveillance, doorbell cameras, and more.
  • Oversee Sales Strategies: Guide customers through the installation process and develop sales strategies to drive consumer adoption.
  • Create and Manage Content: Develop written and video content to support product education, installation guidance, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with marketing, product development, legal, and customer support teams to enhance the overall consumer experience.
  • Monitor Trends and Advancements: Stay up-to-date with the latest smart home technology trends and advancements to ensure our product offerings remain cutting-edge and customer-centric.
  • Drive Customer Feedback: Collect customer feedback and use insights to improve product offerings and support materials.
Qualifications:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in managing consumer-focused technology products, ideally within the smart home or IoT space.
  • Strong Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and drive projects forward.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Experience creating engaging written and video content to support product education and customer support.
  • Technical Knowledge: Technical knowledge of smart home products, including installation and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
