Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of maintenance workers, assigning tasks and ensuring they are completed safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with administrators to manage schedules and work orders.
- Manage maintenance budgets, including forecasting expenses for repairs and upgrades.
- Approve material purchases and manage inventory.
- Oversee projects and ensure completion to company standards.
- Work with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruption to operations.
- Handle vendor relations, including hiring, negotiating, and managing contracts.
- Occasionally visit job sites for oversight and troubleshooting.
- Communicate with property managers and tenants to provide status updates.
- Ensure safety compliance and follow company policies.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
- 5+ years of experience in apartment or residential property maintenance.
- 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role managing a team of 5+.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Valid CA Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Candidate must reside within the Los Angeles/San Fernando area.
