Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of maintenance workers, assigning tasks and ensuring they are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with administrators to manage schedules and work orders.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, including forecasting expenses for repairs and upgrades.
  • Approve material purchases and manage inventory.
  • Oversee projects and ensure completion to company standards.
  • Work with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruption to operations.
  • Handle vendor relations, including hiring, negotiating, and managing contracts.
  • Occasionally visit job sites for oversight and troubleshooting.
  • Communicate with property managers and tenants to provide status updates.
  • Ensure safety compliance and follow company policies.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in apartment or residential property maintenance.
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role managing a team of 5+.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Valid CA Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Candidate must reside within the Los Angeles/San Fernando area.
