Gulf Distributing Holdings, LLC is seeking an experienced Operational Team Lead to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This role is a key part of our Reconciliation Department and requires strong leadership and coordination skills.

About the Role

The Operational Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes. This includes leading the Recon Team, overseeing operational procedures, and collaborating with the Operations Manager to ensure compliance with organizational objectives and local laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership Guidance: Provide clear guidance and motivation to the Recon Department, ensuring all duties are performed according to departmental guidelines.
  • Gate Keeper: Verify load outs, ensure pre-trip vehicle inspections are completed, collect daily load outs, and attach route cover sheets. Also, collect and submit blind count sheets and review Samsara DVIRs for reported damages.
  • Recon: Perform various duties within the recon department, including covering for absent Recon Personnel, assisting with training, organizing daily route paperwork, and ensuring accuracy and accountability of recon procedures.
  • Operational Procedures and Protocol: Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure operational policies, programs, and processes are administered consistently in compliance with organizational objectives and local laws.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as experience in logistics and operations management. You should also be able to work effectively in a team environment and be comfortable with technology.
