About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our team at Dnata. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, introducing, and supporting environmental and sustainability policies, procedures, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental and sustainability strategies to reduce our carbon footprint and promote sustainable practices.
  • Provide technical advice and support to our teams and suppliers on environmental and sustainability issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and facilitate the implementation of sustainable initiatives.
  • Research and develop new sustainable solutions to meet our corporate targets.
  • Manage and analyze environmental data and reporting to inform our organizational strategy.
  • Establish and maintain environmental emergency response protocols.
  • Drive sustainable procurement practices by assessing vendors against our company procedures.
  • Manage internal and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess our performance against environmental and sustainability policies.
  • Provide regular environmental and sustainability training to our colleagues.
  • Identify opportunities for emissions reductions and waste reductions.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience leading environmental programs.
  • Background in introducing environmental and sustainability policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Working knowledge of relevant regulations and laws.
  • Foundation in stormwater management, clean air act, RCRA, and CERLA.
  • Familiarization with green space development.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to completing initiatives and projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage conflict and collaborate to resolve problems.
  • Background in producing and presenting reports.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a high-pressure environment and delivering organizational results.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire colleagues and teams.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively as required.
