Compensation: $125.00 per day

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Guest Paraprofessional to support our PreK-8th grade students in the classroom. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to make a positive impact on the lives of students.

About the Role:

This Guest Paraprofessional will assist teachers and students in the classroom when regular paraprofessionals are absent. The successful candidate will provide support with classroom management, follow teacher instructions, assist students with schoolwork, and enforce all school rules and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe and productive learning environment in the classroom
  • Follow teacher instructions and guidance
  • Assist students with their schoolwork
  • Support and enforce all school rules and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal and administration

Benefits:

This role offers flexibility, allowing you to create your own schedule and pick your assignments. You will be paid bi-monthly, providing financial stability. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work independently with small groups of students, which can be a rewarding experience.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a valid Illinois Paraprofessional License, demonstrate consistent work attendance and punctuality, maintain student and staff confidentiality, and work independently with small groups of students.
