Force Protection Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Director to lead our business development activities focused on the Force Protection and Security market within the Department of Defense (DoD).
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the marketing and business development strategy for the DOD Force Protection and Security account.
- Pursue new opportunities in mission support, security, engineering, and integration of force protection systems with an emphasis on cyber security, cloud, artificial intelligence, and multi-domain environments.
- Develop and execute the BD life-cycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals.
- Build a qualified pipeline of opportunities, shape customer requirements, and translate tacit customer needs into actionable features.
- 15+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree with 13+ years of experience.
- Technical degree is a must.
- Excellent communications skills, business and technical vision, and ability to think strategically.
- Familiarity with online tools used by the Government for solicitations and experience in identifying and qualifying large business development programs.
- 10+ years leading people, teams, and programs.
- Secret with Top Secret/SCI eligibility.
- 12+ years' experience working in or with DoD.
