About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Director to lead our business development activities focused on the Force Protection and Security market within the Department of Defense (DoD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the marketing and business development strategy for the DOD Force Protection and Security account.
  • Pursue new opportunities in mission support, security, engineering, and integration of force protection systems with an emphasis on cyber security, cloud, artificial intelligence, and multi-domain environments.
  • Develop and execute the BD life-cycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals.
  • Build a qualified pipeline of opportunities, shape customer requirements, and translate tacit customer needs into actionable features.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree with 13+ years of experience.
  • Technical degree is a must.
  • Excellent communications skills, business and technical vision, and ability to think strategically.
  • Familiarity with online tools used by the Government for solicitations and experience in identifying and qualifying large business development programs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years leading people, teams, and programs.
  • Secret with Top Secret/SCI eligibility.
  • 12+ years' experience working in or with DoD.
