Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Clerical Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the non-clinical aspects of our Assisted Living Program.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintaining working relationships with RNs, LPNs, and other nursing staff members.
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with all residents, families, and service providers.
- Maintaining confidentiality of verbal and written information related to residents, facility operations, and personnel.
- Ensuring resident privacy and adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
- Understanding fire safety protocols, emergency procedures, and ensuring compliance.
- Answering phones, taking messages for administrators and staff, and delivering messages accordingly.
- Scanning and copying documents as directed by the administrator.
- Preparing and distributing resident reminders regarding upcoming Medicaid recertification and required paperwork.
- Gathering information from potential residents and providing them with relevant materials.
- Sending tracking forms to care managers for hospital and rehabilitation purposes.
- Maintaining daily census for all buildings and updating records on the computer system.
- Inventorying supplies, ordering as needed, and restocking.
- Creating and distributing flyers, memos, and in-service information as directed.
- Abiding by established guidelines and regulations of the facility and governing bodies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and phone etiquette skills.
- Proficiency in basic office skills, computer proficiency, and organizational abilities.
- Reliability and ability to multitask effectively.
$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
