We are seeking a compassionate LPN to provide high-quality care to our residents in a long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in providing basic care to patients, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities.

As a member of our care team, you will work closely with our registered nurses and doctors to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Record patient medical histories accurately
  • Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
  • Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and potential side effects
  • Monitor patients' condition, including fluid intake and output, and maintain accurate patient charts
  • Assist patients with daily activities, such as eating, bathing, and dressing
  • Administer medications, injections, and enemas as prescribed
  • Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
  • Communicate with patients' families and friends to provide advice and instructions

Requirements:

  • Current LPN license
  • Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
