Job Description
We are seeking a talented Cloud Computing Software Engineer to join our team and help develop and implement software solutions for our manufacturing of AI hardware technology. As a member of our growing team, you will work at the forefront of cloud computing and hyperscale technology, building innovative solutions to support our manufacturing processes.
As a Cloud Computing Software Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions, build software that integrates with third-party services, and continuously identify opportunities to improve software and the development process. You will stay up-to-date with the latest cloud computing technologies and trends and ensure code quality, performance, and software maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions for our manufacturing software, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements, design, and implement solutions
- Build software that integrates with third-party services and systems to automate manufacturing processes
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability of software
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve the software and the development process
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud computing technologies and trends
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in software development (alternatively an MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and 0+ years of experience)
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Linux, Windows, System board interfaces (i.e. I2C, PCIE, IPMI, and Redfish hardware interfaces), and networked communication protocols (i.e. TCP/IP, UDP)
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C/C++/C#, Java, JavaScript, Shell / Bash script
- Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and technologies is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment
