Welcome to Overlake Medical Center, where we offer a comprehensive RN Residency program designed for new graduate nurses. Our program is based on best practices and evidence-based education and training, providing you with the skills and confidence to succeed as a Staff RN.

As a new graduate nurse, you will participate in instructor-led courses, 1:1 clinical precepting, and focused group sessions. You will work a .9 FTE during your precepted period and have the opportunity to work in various units, including the Orthopedic Unit.

To be considered for this program, you must have an active Washington State Registered Nursing license and current Health Provider CPR certification. A 24-month FTE commitment is required, and due to the intensity of the program, no extended vacation time will be approved.
