Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Orthopaedic Medical Assistant to join our team at Beacon Orthopaedic Partners MSO LLC. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians in delivering high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Support
    • Assist physicians with medical procedures, exams, and treatments
    • Prepare and maintain patient records, including medical histories and test results
    • Conduct vital signs, take medical histories, and assist with injections and casting
  • Administrative Support
    • Manage patient flow, coordinate appointments, and ensure timely scheduling
    • Handle phone calls, messages, and correspondence with patients and healthcare providers
    • Process medical records, insurance claims, and other administrative tasks
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
    • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on medical procedures and best practices
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or certification in medical assisting preferred
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a clinical setting, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team-oriented environment and provide exceptional patient care.
