Salary:$120,000 - $180,000 per year

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for crafting engaging user experiences and visually appealing designs that meet the needs of our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop user-friendly experiences and translate them into visual designs for diverse projects
  • Influence from initial brainstorming to implementing UX and UI for embedded user interfaces and desktop software
  • Complete Figma design system UI screens using creative design strategies and strong concepting skills
  • Understand and complete all aspects and steps involved in building interactive design solutions
  • Visualize, design, and conceptualize user experiences
  • Communicate design strategy, rationale, and perspective and present UX and UI design concepts
  • Understand and apply feedback with flexibility
  • Lead prioritization sessions, facilitate workshops, define all UX/UI deliverables with timeframes, and communicate plans regularly

Requirements:

  • Equivalent experience to a Bachelor's Degree, preferably with 5+ years' experience
  • Proven ability in UX, with attention to UI design and design thinking process
  • Strong visual design skills, ability to lay out complex screens and understand content hierarchy
  • Skilled in Figma, with strong production abilities to build UI from concept to pixel-perfect completion
  • Facilitate creative and workflow workshops
  • Strong coordination abilities, with a strategic approach, to work with complex data and timelines
