About the Job

The Nurse Care Specialist - Nights position is available at ScionHealth. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The ideal candidate will develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.

As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the standard of nursing care, implementing policies and procedures, and directing, supervising, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate and complete documentation in patient medical records
  • Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Administering medications safely and effectively
  • Providing education and support to patients and families
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

  • A valid RN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ACLS certification (optional)
  • A minimum of six months' experience in an acute care setting
