Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Material Project Manager to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our Global Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing material strategies that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute material strategies to meet program objectives
  • Identify and mitigate program risks and opportunities related to material requirements
  • Report and track program material activities to ensure timely delivery
  • Manage program material budget to achieve objectives
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Management and program teams to drive proposal requirements and business success

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 12-15 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 10-13 years of experience
  • 3+ years of applicable supply chain experience in defense markets
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain and related systems, material procurement, and risk management methodologies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to influence across multiple functions
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deltek Costpoint experience
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs
  • Subcontracts/Procurement experience
  • Supplier relationship management experience
  • PowerBI experience
