Maryville, Tennessee, United States MRG Exams Full time

MRG Exams is a leading provider of Independent Medical Exams for Worker's Compensation, Disability, and the Veterans Administration. Founded in 1998, we are committed to serving our nation's heroes by providing high-quality assessments.

We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our team as an Independent Contractor. This role offers a unique opportunity to serve the Veteran community while enjoying a flexible schedule.

The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA-accredited program and hold an active and unrestricted Psychology license. They will also meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.

This part-time or full-time position involves conducting Disability Assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The Licensed Psychologist will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and perform comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran.

In this role, you will complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal. Please note that the Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations; the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all determinations using the findings recorded in the DBQs.

You will assess approximately 4 Veterans per day on average and will NOT treat or prescribe medication in this position. As an Independent Contractor, you will be brought on board to provide expert assessments and support our mission to serve the Veteran community.

We offer competitive compensation for this role, estimated at $120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on experience and location. You will also receive malpractice insurance coverage by MRG and have access to health insurance options.
