Job Summary:

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies is seeking a Senior RF Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership of all phases of hardware and software design, analysis, development, integration, implementation, verification and validation of complex engineering systems.

This individual will have expertise and technical competence in solving complex "system-of-systems" engineering problems and will be responsible for leading and directing engineering design and analysis efforts to include customer interactions, as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Testing and Evaluation background and experience with software tools to layout and document designs. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Related Degree is required, along with 15 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership of all phases of hardware and software design, analysis, development, integration, implementation, verification and validation of complex engineering systems.
  • Lead and direct engineering design and analysis efforts to include customer interactions, as part of a team.
  • Have expertise and technical competence in solving complex "system-of-systems" engineering problems.
  • Have a strong Testing and Evaluation background and experience with software tools to layout and document designs.
  • Must be a self-starter, have the ability to consistently deliver at a high level with minimum supervision and maintain continuous communications with subordinates, peers, test customers and upper management personnel.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Related Degree.
  • 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum Secret clearance required to start.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Related Degree.
  • Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) techniques, theory and high-throughput implementation.
  • Software Programming, ideally knowledge of SIMULINK and C++.
  • Capable to read and manipulate Altium / Orcad / AutoCAD / Multisim.
