Job Overview: Program Schedule Manager

We seek an experienced Program Schedule Manager to join our Integrated Cost & Schedule Group EVMS system. As a key contributor to the ICAS team, you will play a crucial role in fostering continuous improvements and driving program execution forward.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for both financial and schedule performance management of the program. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining integrated master/sub-project schedules, ensuring accurate logic and timely updates.
  • Consolidating cost and schedule data to analyze program performance, identifying significant variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Creating ad hoc reporting and analysis to identify financial trends and areas for improvement within the monthly reporting cycle.
  • Coordinating work activities with project team members, progressing schedules, and resolving schedule conflicts effectively.
  • Conducting detailed analysis of major program events and key intermediate milestones.
  • Working with the Program Manager to analyze and interpret performance data for monthly reporting and presentation to senior management.
  • Collaborating with the finance organization to ensure cost management policies are upheld.
  • Interpreting status and communicating potential cost and/or schedule impacts to control account/program manager and Integrated Product Team Leads.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Accounting, or a related field, along with 3 years of relevant experience demonstrating strong analytical, problem resolution, organizational, program management, and leadership abilities.
  • In lieu of a degree, equivalent experience may be accepted, including leading teams on complex development projects, applying current Defense industry standards for schedule assessments, and producing analytical schedule reports for customers.
  • Knowledge in cost management and scheduling concepts is preferred.
  • Experience using MS Project, earned value measurement (EVM) techniques in cost and schedule performance management is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation skills, energetic, and self-starter attitude.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization and experience in working with external constituencies.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities to meet business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 5%.

Salary Range Transparency

Phoenix, AZ $70,000.00-$110,000.00 Annually
