Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys and other team members with assessment collections against community association unit owners, including document drafting, clerical work, and communication with clients and debtors.
  • Prepare various documents related to collection actions, including demand letters, pleadings, and correspondence to clients.
  • Filing documents in eviction, foreclosure, and bankruptcy proceedings through applicable electronic filing systems.
  • Perform limited title searches and bankruptcy searches prior to instituting collection actions.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with at least 2 years' experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, preferably with experience in debt collection. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Work Environment

This is an in-person role that requires working at the firm's office, with remote work opportunities available. The successful candidate will be required to use various software applications, including Legalboards, Clio, and NetDocs.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
