Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Registered Respiratory Therapist who can provide high-quality patient care in our NICU and high-risk delivery unit.

As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing life-supporting therapies to critically ill patients, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory care services to critically ill patients, including ventilation support, oxygen therapy, and medication administration.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and improve patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care activities, including treatment plans, progress notes, and lab results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies in respiratory care, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.

Requirements

  • Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials by National Board for Respiratory Care, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
  • Licensure: Valid license to practice respiratory therapy in the state of Idaho.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a registered respiratory therapist in a NICU or high-risk delivery setting.
