Job DescriptionAs a Speech Language Pathologist at beBee Professionals, you will assess and treat individuals with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, working in schools, healthcare facilities, or private practices. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating patients with speech, language, and communication disorders using standardized assessments and observation techniques.
- Developing personalized treatment plans to improve communication skills, incorporating evidence-based practices and innovative strategies.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, including sharing patient information and developing care plans.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, including progress reports and treatment outcomes.
- Providing counseling and education to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in the treatment process.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- A current SLP license in the United States, with the ability to work independently and make decisions related to patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including pediatric and adult patients.
- Experience working in a clinical setting, with a focus on speech and language therapy.
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred, but not required.
