About the Role

Abridge is seeking a seasoned engineering manager to lead our growing team of US-based platform and infrastructure engineers. As a key member of our technical leadership team, you will be responsible for the engineering process in the team and the output of the team.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience as a platform/DevOps/infrastructure engineer in a cloud-native environment and 3+ years of managing software engineering teams. You will be responsible for recruiting, retaining, and mentoring platform engineers, providing regular feedback, creating opportunities for career growth, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

You will work closely with stakeholders such as product managers and customers to plan, execute, and support multiple projects simultaneously. You will help set business context for the team and apply your knowledge of business and software engineering to guide architectural discussions, anticipate and resolve technical challenges, and advocate for technology projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of hiring and mentoring talented engineers, and will be up-to-date on industry best-practices and tools. You will be excited about being hands-on in a fast-moving, productive, and supportive environment, and will be willing to pitch in wherever needed.
