Job Description

  • Job Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders;
  2. Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs;
  3. Document all activities, assessments, and care provided;
  4. Participate in the development and update of individualized care plans;
  5. Take appropriate action based on assessment results and achieve expected outcomes;
  6. Recognize changes in patient needs and responses requiring intervention and implement preventive measures;
  7. Maintain knowledge of competencies related to the nursing profession;
  8. Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies;
  9. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care provided;
  10. Comply with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and the Nurse Practice Act;
  11. Provide care utilizing infection control measures that protect both staff and patients according to OSHA standards.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing;
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice;
  • Current CPR certification;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
