Job Description

SOS International LLC is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to support a government customer in Chantilly, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI/ML model development, experience with Python programming, and a familiarity with Linux and Windows Operating Systems.

The Data Scientist will be responsible for developing and deploying data science solutions, working with Cyber data sources, and collaborating with diverse teams to achieve project goals. A TS/SCI w/Poly Government Security Clearance is required, and a STEM degree in a field such as computer science, statistics, or mathematics is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy data science solutions using Python or similar languages.
  • Utilize Linux and Windows OS for data processing and model deployment.
  • Work with Cyber data sources such as Shodan, Censys.IO, etc., for analysis and insights.
  • Clean, manage, optimize performance, and process large volumes of unstructured text data.
  • Prioritize tasks efficiently and adapt solutions to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively within diverse teams to achieve project goals.
  • Document processes and outcomes for transparency and future reference.

Requirements:

  • TS/SCI w/Poly Government Security Clearance.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a STEM degree.
  • Programming knowledge in Python or similar language.
  • Experience with both Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Experience working with Cyber data to include examples such as Shodan, Censys.IO, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience with cleaning, managing, optimizing performance with, and processing large volumes of unstructured text data.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within the Sponsor's environment.
  • Experience working with Cyber data and tools.

Work Environment:

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
