Electrician Instructor

Hussian College is seeking a qualified Electrician Instructor to join our faculty team. As an Electrician Instructor, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality instruction to students in the electrical trades program.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet course objectives and curriculum requirements.
• Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to ensure student success.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current in the field and with instructional methods.
• Other duties as assigned by the department chair or dean.

• Minimum of four years' work experience as an electrician.
• Prior teaching or training experience is preferred, but not required.

• Presents material in an engaging and effective manner.

This job requires normal physical mobility, including the ability to sit and stand for extended periods, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Normal hand-eye coordination and arm, hand, and finger dexterity are also required.

This job also requires the ability to read, recall, write, and understand information. The ability to work under moderate pressure and manage multiple tasks concurrently is also necessary.

This job is normally performed in a clean, well-lighted, heated, and cooled office area/classroom.
