Industrial Painter

Consolidated Resource LLC is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for painting and coating surfaces in a field environment.

• Clean and Prepare Surfaces: Remove previous finishes, clean and smooth the surface, and let it dry before painting.
• Prepare Paints: Use measurement equipment to check the makeup of the paint and mix the appropriate compounds for the job.
• Apply Paint: Use a variety of techniques and tools to paint surfaces, including spray equipment, airbrushes, stencils, rollers, or brushes.
• Clean Work Areas: Clean up the area after finishing a job, following guidelines for the safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste.
• Maintain Equipment: Troubleshoot and maintain painting equipment, some of which is technical.
• Conditions Monitoring and Quality Reporting: Monitor conditions and document for turnover packages, including millage testing.

• Core Skills:
  • 2 years of experience in Oilfield (required)
  • Experience in industrial equipment painting and process piping
  • Experience with wet painting using a gun
  • Experience with blasting and all types of blasting media; sand, black beauty, glass bead, etc.
  • Understanding of N.A.C.E requirements
  • Ability to gauge millage application and document with the use of a millage tester
  • Ability to differentiate between colors
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees
  • Strong communication skills
