About the Role

We are seeking skilled technicians to join our team in providing exceptional service to our guests. As an Automotive Repair Professional, you will be responsible for performing routine vehicle repairs and maintenance services according to company standards and manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine vehicle services and repairs effectively and efficiently in accordance with Monro's standards of operation.
  • Tire Services: Remove wheels, balance tires, repair punctures, change tires, mount tires, install TPMS systems, and perform related services.
  • Vehicle Services: Perform oil changes, lubrications, basic maintenance tasks (e.g., bulb replacements, wiper blade replacements, filter replacements), battery testing, and installations.
  • Conduct Courtesy Inspections on every guest vehicle, identifying additional needed services and repairs, documenting findings, and communicating results to guests.
  • Assist in inventory management by pulling tires and parts, unloading shipments, and stocking inventory.
  • Participate in maintaining store appearance and cleanliness, ensuring stores meet Monro's standards.
  • Perform services according to Monro's safety standards, including Wheel Torque, Oil Safety, and Compliance procedures.
  • Test drive vehicles safely using designated test drive routes while adhering to local traffic laws.
  • Maintain technical knowledge through required training courses, certifications, and modules offered by Monro University.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful as an Automotive Repair Professional at Monro, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic automotive training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A current valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
  • The ability to operate customers' vehicles during test drives.
Compensation and Benefits

As an Automotive Repair Professional at Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers, you can expect a competitive hourly rate of $15.00-$18.00 per hour, plus additional compensation and incentives based on performance and experience.
